Q: I want to post about another website, which I think Shira Oka forum members would be interested in.  Can I post it?

A:  If the site is related to ren'ai games, anime/manga, Japan or Japanese culture, fan creations, or something close to any of those, the answer is probably yes.  (In fact, if you own or run this other site, you're welcome to contact me about cross-advertising possibilities if you're interested.)  If the site is completely unrelated (you know who you are!), then the answer is probably no.  Either way, if you want to be sure, I suggest that you send a PM (private message) to me or another Okashi staff member FIRST to ask for permission.  Otherwise, you risk having your post and account deleted as unwanted spam.

Q:  I am new to the Shira Oka forums.  How do I prove that I am not a spambot?!

A:  First of all, relax, and welcome.   The easiest thing you can do is post a greeting in our Introduction thread, telling us a bit about yourself and how you learned about Shira Oka.  Or if you don't like talking about yourself, feel free to be active in any other topics our members are discussing, or start your own!  We'll just be a little suspicious if your first and only post is to ask everyone to visit your site...
