Interview with Okashi co-founders in Nichi Bei Times

In 2007 at Fanime, Andrew and Colleen were interviewed by Tomo Hirai, a reporter from the Nichi Bei Times. The article was about Fanime in general, but especially about local organizations producing manga- and anime-related goods that are normally only imported from Japan.

The story was printed in the July 12 edition of the weekly newspaper. According to their website, Nichi Bei Times is the oldest Japanese-American bilingual newspaper in northern California. It is published weekly in English, and three times a week in Japanese.  (2009 update: Sadly, the Nichi Bei Times printed its final issue in September 2009.)
