 We would like to get some basic information about the computer systems our game will be played on. In particular, we are interested in the general specs of your computer, as well as your computer's video, sound, and OpenGL capabilities.
What is this for?
This information will help us while we're developing and testing the game, to make sure it runs smoothly on the most common computer setups.
 What's in it for me?
Our eternal gratitude... and possibly a chance at being an early tester of the game.
We're aiming to test on a wide range of computer systems, and we may contact you if your computer matches something we plan to test on, or if we need more information about your computer. Filling out the survey doesn't guarantee you a testing spot, but it's a possibility.
What's the catch?
There isn't really one, though you will need to install some (free) software in order to do the survey. It should only take a few minutes to complete the survey, once you have the two programs running.
Some things you should know before getting started...
- This survey is for Windows users only. (XP and Vista users preferred.)
- Please complete the survey using the computer(s) you plan to use to play Shira Oka. You may complete the survey more than once, as long as you use a different computer each time.
- You will need to run 2 Windows programs to complete this survey: MSInfo32, which is built in to Windows, and the OpenGL Extensions Viewer, which you can download for free if you don't have it yet. Please note that you will need to have Windows Administrator access in order to install the Viewer.
- The information being collected in this survey is for the sole purpose of improving Shira Oka. We take your privacy very seriously here at Okashi Studios, and we would never share your details with any third parties without your permission.
- If you are under the age of 13, please ask an adult to complete the survey for you.
